Install, update, and configure your B4IT mods in a few straightforward steps.

✅ System Requirements

  • Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit)
  • Administrator rights for installation
  • Stable internet connection for updates
  • Game installed and updated (WorldOfTanks.exe present)
ℹ️ Tip: Temporarily disable aggressive antivirus if it flags the installer (false positive). Then re-enable after installation.

① Run the Installer

Launch Setup.exe and follow the on-screen wizard to complete installation.

② Shortcuts & AppData Folder

After installation, desktop shortcuts will be created automatically.

Logs, configs, resources and executables are stored here:

③ Updater & Updates

Open Updater.exe to check for updates, manage mods, or launch the game.

⚠️ Game not detected? Click Select, choose the folder containing WorldOfTanks.exe, then press OK.

Press Check Updates and wait until the process completes.

You can also uninstall mods or launch the game directly from the updater:

ℹ️ If a new Updater version is available, you’ll see a prompt to update it automatically.

④ Mod Settings (in-game)

Inside the hangar, press ALT + H to open the mods settings panel.

🛠 Troubleshooting

  • Crash to desktop on game loading: Open Windows Settings → System → Display and disable Auto HDR. In NVIDIA Control Panel disable any Motion Blur/“Smooth” Blur options.
  • Updater can’t write files: Run Updater.exe as Administrator. Ensure your antivirus isn’t blocking it.
  • Mods didn’t apply: Click Check Updates again → ensure correct game path → restart the game client.
  • Network issues: Try the Mirror Download or a different network/VPN.

❓ FAQ

Installer doesn’t start

Right-click Setup.exe → Run as Administrator. If blocked by SmartScreen, choose More info → Run anyway.

How do I reinstall or repair mods?

Open Updater.exe → press Check Updates. To remove first, use Uninstall then update again.
